On the 13th of May 2009, the first person infected with H1N1 virus was landed in Malaysia from New Jersey, NY.

On the day itself, i bought my DELL Studio XPS 16..

It felt so wonderful~!

The beautiful design, the specs, the overall was simply outstanding for me. It’s LOVE at first sight..~~

I know it’s a little too late for me to post this topic.. (haha budget tiru lirik lagu David Archuleta)..
Nothing is too late or too soon in my blog.. because it is my ffffing blog.. haha.. stop bullshitting and straight to business..

So i went to
Trident – 16

(Jack Up rig) which is under Petrofac Ltd on January..
Nature of my job was demobilizing our equipment on board.. the rig will go back to Vietnam to what they do best there. But due to bad weather in Malaysia and in Vietnam, we are stranded there for almost 3 frigging week doing nothing but standby.. I was there with my newly found NAKAMA “Azuree”.. Luckily i was there with a companion.. While we are there, we are required to go to
GSF 136

(another Jack Up rig) under petrofac to do some troubleshooting. It was 2-3 hours ride on a supply boat.. Horrifying but still a good experience for me but not for my nakama.. he is sea sick prone category A.. pity him..

Around a week after i finished it, i was asked to go to
GAIT – 3 Ocean Six

(Work over or a small tender barge) to assist in in installing a DMS (auto tracking antenna) there. It was about a 2-3 day job but in the 3rd day before i went back to labuan, i was asked to go to
Trident – 17

(Jack Up rig) under petronas.. the nature of my job was standby.. standby.. sigh.. (easy money LOL) i was there alone for around 2 weeks.. but i made a hell loads of friends while i was there.. there’s even a karaoke machine inside the galley..

Right now as i speak..or type.. i am on
T-10

(a big tender barge) under petronas.. i was at t-10 before when it was still under Carigali Hess.. the nature of my job right now.. INSTALLATION.. it was hard.. hard.. hard work for me and my colleague “mawardi”.. non stop 3 day work.. we have to assemble the antenna, lay the cables, setup the indoor unit.. we have to use the transfer basket each time we have to work on the platform.. this was only like 30% of hardness.. there was A LOT of problems.. with the rft.. with the booster.. with the mux.. with the interface cable.. with the newbies at NOC.. with the riggers who always ask the same question over and over again.. but again we managed to overcome all of these.. what a feeling.. it’s overwhelming.. a lot has been learned.. and still a lot more to learn..

this conclude all off my work since January 2009..
my last post about work was at J4DP-A.. after that.. i went to a lot more places..
here’s the list:-
- Naga 1 or hakuryu (Singapore) to secure the GYRO.. Alone..
- Gait 2 or Sarku Samudera (Miri) for rig move .. Alone again..
- Gait 3 (KK) for replacing the UPS there .. Alone some more..
- West Janus (Bintulu) for an upgrade .. Alone.. u guess right!..
- Teknik Berkat (Terengganu) for demob .. this time not alone.. with Jai..
- Again to Teknik Berkat (Terengganu) for demob.. with Fauzi Samudi(my boss)
- Bunga Kertas FPSO (Terengganu) for preventive maintenance with my boss
- FSO ABU (Terengganu) for preventive maintenance with my boss
- FPSO Perintis (Terengganu) for preventive maintenance with my boss

A lots of jobs.. I was tired.. but i was happy..
Work is my top priority right now..
I’m married with my job.. NICE~!

I was boringly browsing my facebook last nite.. then i saw Hunny Madu’s status that she will be on air at 0115Hrs.. at that time its 0113Hrs.. So i went on and on the TV.. So long since i watched it.. There she was, passionately entertaining others..

Then i decided to make my boring birthday into an exciting one.. I sms the show and asked her to sing the birthday song to me.. it took a while to be displayed.. and luckily~! She saw my message and sing it to me~!
It was beautiful..

Here on Trident-17, while im on standby.. after taking my evening bath..
I laid on my bunker.. while watching tv3.. for the first time.. I watched.. SPA-Q~!
followed by Ceria2 Cikgu Rubina(CCR)..

I dont even know that these kind of soap drama existed.. well maybe i’ve heard or read about SPA Q somewhere.. but heck.. CCR~!

Anyway.. Both was not bad.. Malaysia boleh~! honestly.. i was entertained.. and excited..
I was smiling awkwardly during the whole drama.. i dont know.. maybe the concept of the story.. or maybe the fact that i dont watch TV for a long time..

Boredom can make u do THINGS.. LOL

Anyway.. it’s almost a week since, and i am still onboard Rig Trident 17 at labuan waters..
Originally, i was assigned for a job at GAIT3 aiding my mate for installation then i was sent straight here for standby.. still there’s problem on GAIT3.. I hope everything will be running smoothly after today.. 2 of the most experienced guys are there to troubleshoot..

Oo how i miss blogging..

been busy with offshore works..

start form raya at Bintulu, i jumped to miri, jumped to KK, then back to bintulu, then Kerteh..

phew.. i ended year 2008 with a vengeance..

luckily i can eat lobster on board Teknik Berkat an Christmas Day..

but i miss lobster on the New Year because i have to demob the VSAT antenna on Sotong-A..

how i wish i could take pictures or vids.. but i cant bring my phone..

lalala..

Next job, i’ll be going to kota bharu.. Cakeralawala Platform for preventive maintenance..
then i’ll be domobilizing BLA(Bulan-A platform) and install it back at CKC(Cakerawala-C platform)..

I dunno how long it will take this time due to bad weather.. i hope it’ll be a swift job..

And i’m still waiting for the ethiopia job.. last i heard it was delayed untill march.. oo how i hate “STANDBYs”
